’Uri Ṣevi Grinbergh Street

Jewish date:  21 Siwan 5772 (Parashath Shelaḥ).

Today’s events:  Swimming Pool Day, Queen’s Birthday (Commonwealth of Nations), Birthday of Prince Henrik (Denmark).

Greetings.

Continuing the series on Giv‘ath Shemu’el, today’s street of interest is ’Uri Ṣevi Grinbergh Street, which continues part of Zhabboṭinsqi Street, continues until Yoni Nethanyahu Street, and is continued by Zevulun Hamer Street.  As always, all descriptions may be inaccurate for the sake of your amusement, so, no, your humble blogger is not crazy.

It was actually drizzling the day I took these pictures (1 May 2012), something I did not expect after the start of Israel’s dry season.  Please excuse the quality of the pictures due to the weather.

This is a residential street, with lots of apartment buildings and a landscaped median.

I do not know what this is.  I asked many of the robots on the street about this, and I received no definitive answer.

This signpost was damaged due to a fight between a ninja and a pirate.  The pirate was lying unconscious in the bushes.  As for the ninja, no one ever gets to see one until it is too late.

“I think that weird thing is meant to be used to surf on the street.  What do you think, ■□▢▣?”
“▿◍▫◔◑▨ ◥◯▙▓ ▓◮◰◒◉▫◂.”
“Could you please rephrase that ?”
“▵▷△△△◃◁▽◢◢◢◢◣◣◥◤▁▂▅▆▆▇█.”
“OK, but where would anyone around here get their hands on a purple ◐◎◰◩◻?”

■□▢▣ insists the missing house was abducted by a ◙◙▣◉╳ named ◳◳◳ and her pet ◪◬◘ Salle.  ■□▢▣ claims they will probably bring it back in a century or two with a new coat of paint and a ╱╱╱┋┋◌ on the front porch.

“It’s a sampo!”
“There’s no such thing a sampo!”
“Then it’s an approximation of a sampo!”
“I doesn’t look anything like what a sampo is supposed to!”
“Of course it looks like what a sampo is supposed to, and it could easily approximate what a sampo is supposed to do!”
“No way!”
“Yes way!”
“Wait a minute, Grischko.  Did you mean ‘✭❈☗’ instead of ‘sampo’?”
“Um, come to think of it, I guess I did.”
“Well, it doesn’t even vaguely resemble a ✭❈☗!”

“╭┆▫  ◳◳◳ ┆┈ Salle ◁▽▴┆▢◆◂ ◥║◫╮◍ ◃◼▤◄—”
“Give it up, ■□▢▣.”

Two Intefe robots showing off some of the gardening they have done.  They think the weird thing is meant to be used in parades when pulled by a wooly mammoth.

“▵◥◼╏ ┹◍▋┖┌◓╯ ◳╟◩—”
“Knock it off, ■□▢▣!”

“│┉┄▥╈┸┠ └┷╉╱┃▭◀ Batman ◈◉◙◥—”
“I told you to knock it off!”

■□▢▣ took what his/her associate, TMS Logistik, said literally and knocked the top off this sign.

One of our painted electrical boxes, this one the first your humble blogger has seen with a cactus theme.

The ninja not visible in this picture insists the weird thing is in fact ◳◳◳ in disguise, pointing out that it tends to giggle whenever anyone tries to examine it.

“䷪𝌒䷾䷥𝌷𝌛𝌛𝌛𝌇!”
“Was that your opinion what that weird thing is?”
“No.  I sneezed.”

“Why worry about what that weird thing is when you can admire this fine art?”

A decorated traffic circle on the other end of ’Uri Ṣevi Grinbergh Street.

Be careful when trying to take pictures from new angles.  I almost tripped over the weird thing taking this picture

Enjoy, share the weirdness, and beware of ◳◳◳ and Salle.
